HI Kristin here. Sorry i didn't post a blog all weekend but I was very busy and then was at Nannie Camp resting.

Friday night I headed into Boston to check in for the Avon Breast Cancer Walk. Kim, Casey and I checked in then had a pasta supper. Saturday morning we awoke to pouring rain...but that didn't stop us. We had breakfast and began the walk at 630 AM. It poured from about 630-830 but after that the sun came out and the weather was nice. We walked a total of 26.2 miles on Saturday. Casey had a minor passing out episode at mile 18 so she was done for the day. Kim and I finished about 4pm and Mum was at the finish line in Canton waiting for us. Once I upload the pictures I will be sure to share them. Mum brought us water and brownies and then drove us to Shaws to get some Icy Hot for Casey. She dropped us at the hotel where we showered and rested and got delivery for dinner. We were fast asleep by 9 and up at 5am the next day to finish walking! Casey did not walk as she was not feeling well from Saturday but Kim and I finished the 13 miles for a total of 39 miles!!! We were very sore towards the end and my hip was killing me, but we finished. The finish line was fun, the last mile is all pink balloons and people cheering and music. We finished about 1pm and I headed to Nannie Camp to rest. Amanda might be interested in walking next year. She was supposed to walk this year but went and got herself pregnant....god Amanda, what are your priorities? There are also new crew members that ride bicycles and stop traffic and what not, maybe the boys can do that and us girls can walk!

Anthony made my favorite eggplant for supper and I also had flowers and fudge! And a cake!! It was yummy. I slept on the couch a bit while Twon and Mum went to Target to browse.

Anthony worked in the city yesterday so I stayed at Mum's and worked from home. Chelsea has been here since Friday enjoying all her favorite treats and running the house. Last night Anthony and the bopper went to the red sox and could practically see the sweat coming off the players, I'm sure Twon will post his pictures and write a blog about his visit to Newport and trip to the Sox game.

That's my weekend in a nut shell. Ill share pictures soon.

Congradulations Kristin! I'm so happy you made it and that it didn't pour the whole time. I was thinking about you all weekend. Next year, please let me know so that I can pledge you. I would be happy to do that. I don't know if you know this, but my mom has had both breasts removed and has been a cancer survivor for 20+ years. June and I always wonder if we're next so it's a subject near and dear to my heart!

Did Anthony get to see the no-hitter! Lucky!!

You forgot to put in the part where you all were sweaty and dirty and stinking up the place. and how you and Kimba looked like two members from BAND CAMP when you hiked your way into Shaws for some needed medication.

Mumma Annie -- you should just sign your name to your posts. Everyone knows it's you. We can tell by all the exclamation marks and capital letters!!!!!!!!

Glad you made it Kristin! It's good that you'll be wearing your fanny pack from now on. I'll probably need you to carry some things in there for when we go to the hospital. :)

Twon & Spongebob -- lucky you to see the no-hitter in person!
