The PianoMan

Saturday night Anthony and I had a hot date at the casino. Someone at work had given us tickets to see Billy Joel in concert.

The casino was packed!! We had tried to make dinner reservations well in advance but everything was booked. We ended up going to Bubba's BBQ for dinner. It wasn't anything to write home about. Anthony had a turkey Reuben that was definitely not a Reuben, it was dry and had mustard on it.
I had chicken fried steak which was just OK. I mostly just ate the potatoes.

The concert stated at 8 so we headed into the Arena about 7:30. We had two free food/drink coupons so Anthony had a beer and I got water. And no I'm not pregnant, i don't like beer.

We had fantastic seats, we were eight rows up from the stage!!!! Billy Joel played straight from 8- 10:30 with no break. A few of the favorite numbers he played were " River of Dreams, " We Didn't Start the Fire", " Anthony's Song" ( which is the moving out song), " Only the Good Die Young," " Piano Man" and many others. I even danced around with the lady next to me, don't even know her name but she asked me to dance.

The lights were really neat and his baby grand spun around. The whole show was really great!!! He didn't play "Uptown Girl" which I was hoping he'd play, but maybe he doesn't play it since he divorced Christy Brinkly.

Besides the concert we did a lot of errands to get ready for the BBQ. Anthony has a new treat he makes now, ill write a separate blog about that.
Anthony put together Callum's house for the weekend and did lots of work outside in the heat!!

That's all.

me neither.

glad you guys had fun at the concert! your story about dancing with the strange lady next to you is almost as funny as me singing karaoke 'Ring of Fire' (Johnny Cash) with a midget at some bar in Dover, NH.
